Walter Smith Fine Foods were presented with “Best company training scheme” award by Princess Royal at the Butchers Hall in February 2013 HR Director, Paul Cadman (bottom left), received the award along with his fellow Retail Director, Robert Jones (bottom 2nd from left), who said “This award covers the whole of the UK and we believe we were successful because we’ve been delivering high quality training to all our employees for over 100 years. The earliest photographic evidence we have dates back to the 1930’s when G.A. Smith was captured training a group of young butchers.
